The Reaper

I am the reaper of truth.

Fighting the good fight.

Seeing things differently.

My journey is my plight.

See, I open their eyes

to the world they don't see.

Take away imiganation

and show them reality.

I think the thoughts

you refuse to think.

Your view is a chasm

and I am the link

to a world that is real,

a world full of bad.

And people wonder

why I'm always so sad.

I see past the facade

people seem to show

and see them for them,

letting others know.

I've learned from the

future, present, and past.

I'll show you the worthwile

and those who won't last.

The outlook is different of

people who don't hear me.

They're okay with dreams

and need not see clearly.

People who listen close

to the "wise" words spoken

leave me looking glum.

Once fine, now broken.

Maybe I was wrong.

I am the Grim Reaper.

When others look shallow,

I search for the deeper.

But do I shed light?

Or take light away.

When one sees reality

hope is the prince to pay.

People need imagination

to help them get along.

I come and take it away

then life is one sad song.

I try to bring knowledge,

but take away their soul.

People once loved all, now

their heart's an empty hole.

So watch out for me

as I travel around this earth.

Dragging souls once hopeful

now lost when hope's a dearth...

Alone.

Dear Princesses,

Over the years I've heard a lot about you.

I've heard you're in need of a brave rescue.

Trapped in a tower. Left all alone.

Waiting for a prince to come take you home.

But there is one little thing that I can't understand.

Please here me out before you reprimand.

Why do the bad guys always seem to win?

Why are you attracted to their deadly sins?

Maybe the fairy tales were all a lie.

Or maybe you can't tell a bad from a good guy.

So, times aren't the same as fairy tales, I know.

Things don't work out the same as stories would go.

I might not have shining armor to make me stand out.

Or even a horse to find you on and leave you without doubt

That I'm the prince you've been waiting for all you're life

to give you all you could need and love you with rife.

But trust me, I'd do whatever it takes to make you see

That nobody would give up more just for you to be free.

And I don't come from royalty with riches unbound.

But my desire to go through hell for you would be renowned.

And maybe you don't need me, but maybe I need you.

We could rescue each other and love would ensue.

But listen to me closely because words I don't like to mince.

Every girl is a princess and every princess deserves a prince.

I hope you find you're prince.

Sincerely,

Not You're Fairy Tale Prince

The Dance

They were solo dancers.
Never dancing with
the other before.
But after introductions
they were bound
for the dance floor.

Used to dancing with their feet
they danced this dance
to a different beat.
Feet lifting off the ground.
They danced on air with
no fears to be found.

This dance needed
no music to start.
This dance was danced
by the beat of their hearts.
This danced was danced
with people around.
This dance was danced
by soul mates now found.

The dance was fast
and other times slow.
No dance before
had such fluid flow.
This dance not taught
in any class.
It needed no approval
for the dancers to pass.
The dance spoke words
that couldn't be spoken.
The silence was beautiful
healing souls once broken.
Although the dance
was sometimes wrong
They kept on dancing
and the dancers grew strong.
They danced this dance
with no care for time.
Nothing else mattered,
the dance was sublime.
Simply divine.

Wolves surrounded them
waiting to prey.
To feast on their mistakes
whisking the dance away.
They heard their growls
but danced on anyway.

He held her close
"I'll dance with you,
forever and always
my dance will be true."
She held his hand
as tight as can be
"never stop this
dance with me."
Passion was felt
soul as well.
They danced for the heavens
and through fires of hell.

The dance started
many years before.
When two became one
and learned to soar
above those who
thought it would end anon
but now can see
that the dance goes on.

Dear My Abuser

My Abuser
123 It's Over
Somewhere, Not here 0029

Dear My Abuser,

I'm writing to you to tell you I'm done.

The battles I lost but the war I won.

I've left the tunnel and found the sun.

The days will be lighter for me and your son.

Pain.

From the pain you caused us, we'll never be the same.

But I've come to learn that I am not the one to blame.

I thought that the beatings would help to keep you sane.

And maybe others would think our family was plane

If I made my bruises seem like they came from a game.

But the moment you hit him, I knew your life was vain.

No more will I allow you to use us as your rotten cane.

And now of you we must wane.

Fear.

For too many years we've lived in fear.

For too many years I've had to stay clear

When came home drunk from having a beer.

You're eyes would search with a deadly leer.

And if you found me, I'd avoid the mirror.

But I took the beatings without a tear

And met others with endless cheer

Bearing it, so our son could have one more year

With a father who at he could barely peer.

I was wrong my dear.

Life moves along.

I've come to realize that I was wrong.

That I stuck around for way too long.

I always felt that to you I would belong.

My weak days are over, it's time to be strong.

So here is my final good bye. I loved you. So long.

Sincerely,
Your Abused no longer.

To be blind

Sometimes, I wish I were blind
to discover what those with
sight could never find.

You're beautiful,
without my depth perception.
Lovelier without sight.
Did I forget to mention?

Your smell is my serenity,
intoxicating me with pleasure.
The taste of your fruit,
no eye could ever measure.
Your body is a land
aching to be discovered.
With the touch of my hands
your secrets will be uncovered.

With no preconceived notion
from some superficiality
I could love you for you
when my senses become reality.
I wouldn't care if there's a
birthmark grazing your left cheek.
I'd just love the way we can hold
each other whenever we're weak.
Your hand in mine would be
sweeter than any pie.
Others could wonder how we
work but I'd never question why.
For you I'd die.

You're beautiful,
without black or white.
I'd fall for you,
with my soul and might.

True beauty I could find
without my two eyes.
Oh, to be blind.

Hide and Seek (part 1)

Deeply breathing. Hands shaking.
Heart racing. Embracing.
Keep quiet, not a peep.
Need some sleep.
Why can't I sleep?

The floor creeks,
he's on the prowl.
For me he seeks
face full of scowl.
I am the hider,
He is the seeker.
How can this game
get any bleaker.

He's getting near.
Not me not me.
Don't breathe he'll hear
and then he'll see.

Oh no I can't!
I made a sound;
and now the hider
has been found.

"You're the best,
but still the worst.
None can contest
you fucking jerk.
You ass
you fag
no class
you rag.

You do a lot
but not enough
your worth me not
but just stay tough.
No need to sob
but its your fault
I have no job."

Don't give him nothing.
Not a word nor a look,
Keep sacred the lock
to you're sacred book.
Maybe he'll stop
or settle down.
Don't feed him more
or you will drown.
Keep your face
so set in stone
you'll escape this place
and find your own.

Hours later,
the seeker sleeps.
The hider smiles
but inside weeps.
The pain too tough
for him to bare
but seeker thinks
he shouldn't care.

"No sorry from me.
I stopped, you
should be happy.
Let's not look
at the downs
but at the ups
and past the frowns.
My life is tough
please understand.
For you it's rough
but be a man.
You'll have a life
mine's almost over
so take this strife
until it's over."

The cuts are deep,
too deep to see.
His secrets to keep
he can't be free.
The demons haunt
him late at night.
"Will the seeker
find me tonight?"
Or can he breathe
and be okay
until he's found
another day.

Unstoppable

Killer two. Yeah,
that's me and you.
With us together,
baby, ain't nothing
we can't do.
I'll forever be your man
and you'll forever be
my boo.
Put a wall in between us
and we'll push through
Because
You were meant for
me
and I was meant for
You.

Unstoppable. We fine
Just like Bonnie and Clyde,
But unlike them we'll
Never die.
We're gonna take
The world
We're just biding
Our time.

They're on the fall,
We're on the rise.
They duke it out,
We compromise.

To others, it's
Plain to see.
No one can match
Our chemistry.
And chemistry couldn't
Make a better
You and me.
Cuz' we flow
smoother than a
Symphony.

Look out because
We are here
To stay.
And we will
Never fray.
And we will
Never sway.
We'll just remain
This way.
Forever and
Today.

When two are two

From the start, it was on.
Hormones were raging,
Feelings were strong.
This was more than a fling
not purely infatuation.
This love was made to last
no time for procrastination.
An atomic bomb hit,
never making a coo.
Nothing else mattered
except "me and you."

"This is how it goes right?
Never even had a fight.
Man this love is out of sight.
Make the wrongs seem so right,
Like a penguin gaining flight.
Know we'll always be alright,
Here for you with all my might."

Things pushed on,
days went by.
Lovers 'till the day they die.
Cuddle, kiss, hug, and more;
"More than just a nightly score."
Friends forgotten,
Pushed aside.
Only two passengers
On this ride.
Six months pass
and birdies sing.
Kneeling to the ground
he hits her with the ring.

"Who am I?"
"I don't know"
"Do you know me?"
"I love you so."
"What makes me tick?"
"No need for strife."
"What makes me sick?"
"Please be my wife,
and I can learn about
you for the rest
of my life."

They undocked the boat
and set sail.
But when things got rocky
they got pale.
Mystified about
what to do.
This is something
they'd never been through.
Communication was
something new.
A slab of meat that
they just couldn't chew.
Using a nail when
they needed a screw.
A mystery that called
for Scooby Doo.
One fight and alas
the marriage was through.
Passionate lovers
who never knew.
Without communication
Two are never one,
But two are two
And love won't do
when two are two.

Just another fling

Their eyes met.
Sparks flew.
Lips lock.
Static shock.
Vision blurred.
Feelings stirred.
Sweat drips.
Quivering lips.
Hands wander.
Both ponder.
"Something more,
"Or just a score?"
Clothes fly.
Fears die.
Next day
In dismay.
Should've known,
Still alone.
